Food, staff and location were perfect, only minus were the smokers.

This is my third visit to La Stazione Del Gusto and I gave the restaurant very high marks in the past. Unfortunately the two years elapsed since my last visit seem to have taken a heavy toll on the restaurant, with a very noticeable drop of both the quality and choice of food and the quality of service as well. The dishes are now rather dull and the service pretty basic. Even the setting, which is the same as in the past, appears to have been somehow neglected. A disappointing return!

When you finally found the restaurant which is only possible with help by phoning the owner you are totally satisfied. The menue is very interesting, good quality, the staff is friendly and fast. We were really satisfied in all aspects even I was  nearly furious when searching the place and driving around like a fool. The tartare from gamberi wasn&#39;t perhaps the optimum as it would have needed more avocado dip. All the rest was to our absolute satisfaction. Also wine by the glass. Price/quality and discount were very good.

Small entrance, but big place, both in selection of wines(not only Italian) and food. We tasted an hamburger (300 GR.) to big for us but so tasteful and juicy. The owner is very helpful and i you go once, can&#39;t help us you go more and more. For those whom prefer the real thing thats were you go. Try it.

We had by far the best food during our entire trip through Umbria in this lovely little place inside the Centro Storico of Perugia! The owner was very friendly and attentive to all guests and although he spoke close to no English we could still manage well communicating. Since it was truffle season we had tagliatelle al tartufo as a main course and as a starter scrambled egg on bread with truffels and fish carpaccio with capers and green pepper in a caper-lemon sauce - absolutely outstanding! Not to forget the delightful and super tasty deserts (panna cotta with preserved orange and &#39;unicorno de nocciola&#39; with a light cream filling and some refreshing tangy candied ginger. Fantastic! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! On top there is a little terrace to sit outside -albeit righ next to the road, but it is one-way with relatively light traffic which didnmt deter from the overall excellent meal at all. Enjoy!

The food was amazing and the service was great. Claudio is a real showman!! A little pricey but well worth the money.

A restaurant never tried before but I must say for me was a discovery from 10 and praises excellent food and very nice and comfortable local service very careful and very friendly owner.... What to say everything very good especially cotton and pepper excellent and the sweet a goodness to sweet the English soup baffles to Venetian with pan mount above a goodness 😋😋😋😋😋😋💕💕💕 everything 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝

Abbiamo provato questo locale durante una visita a Perugia. E&#39; leggermente fuori dal centro ma vale la pena fare qualche passetto in pi&ugrave; per andarci. Ho trovato un locale tranquillo, personale gentile e prezzi corretti che diventano buoni con lo sconto the fork, che &egrave; stato regolarmente applicato. Solo una piccola considerazione, le quantit&agrave; dovrebbero essere un pochino pi&ugrave; abbondanti. Nel mio caso &egrave; andato bene lo stesso ma una persona di appetito ritengo che qualche cosina in pi&ugrave; non gli avrebbe fatto male. Per il resto tutto OK.

We tried this local during a visit to Perugia, it&#39;s a little out of the center but it&#39;s worth a little more walk to go. I found a quiet, friendly staff and good prices with the fork discount, which has been regularly applied. Only a little consideration, the quantities should be a little more abundant. In my case, the same was good, but a person with appetite I think some more cotton wouldn&#39;t hurt him.
